Tours :

Paraiso Maravilla is shown by appointment only. Please call 713-977-5773 to set an appointment.

 

Staff :

Rental fee includes facility staff to ensure that the space is comfortable and clean.

 

Setup & Breakdown :

Rental fee includes a three (3) hour complimentary setup time immediately prior to the event setting time and a one (1) hour breakdown immediately following the event. Additional setup and breakdown time (must be scheduled) and will be billed at $100.00 per hour, payable prior to the event setup. Three complimentary one-hour on-site planning sessions may be scheduled by appointment.

 

Arrival Time :

Sponsors, event planners, and all other parties associated with the event may arrive three (3) hours prior to the scheduled event time unless otherwise arranged.

 

Food :

Paraiso Maravilla's preferred caterers prepare all cuisine served at Paraiso Maravilla. Outside caterers are not permitted unless approved..

Hotel Accommodations : Special Rates Available

       

Tables / Chairs :

Paraiso Maravilla includes the following tables and chairs
in the rental fee:

30 - 60" round tables
300 - Gold Chivari Chairs

 

Security :

Provided by Paraiso Maravilla.

Beverages / Liquor :

All beverage service orders will be placed with Paraiso Maravilla.

Deliveries / Pickups :

Paraiso Maravilla will accept deliveries on behalf of the client as a complimentary service, during the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on the day of the event for evening events, or on the day prior for daytime events unless otherwise arranged. Teardown and stacking of all equipment and articles not belonging to Paraiso Maravilla must be completed the evening of the event unless prior arrangements have been made with management. Paraiso Maravilla is open for pickup of such equipment and articles between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon of the following business day.

 

Payments :

Personal or business checks will be accepted as well as Visa, Master Card and American Express.

 

Confirmed Reservation :

At least a 1/3 date retainer is required and the remaining balance due 90 days prior to event with the lessee's contract to confirm the event date and time. Please understand that Paraiso Maravilla books very quickly (and at any time), so promptness is a must if the facility is desired. Policy dictates "first come, first serve," so Paraiso Maravilla cannot be reserved without a deposit. Paraiso Maravilla cannot be responsible if the facility is booked before a decision is made.

Returned Checks :

Returned checks are subject to a $25.00 returned check fee. If the check is returned after the balance is due, the contract may be subject to the following stipulations:

  • Lessee may be in breach of contract

  • The contract may be terminated.

  • Lessee may have to surrender the right to possess the premises on the event date.

  • Paraiso Maravilla may be entitled to date retainer as liquidated damages for lessee's breach of contract.

On the other hand, Paraiso Maravilla, at its sole discretion, may agree to accept late payment including a $25.00 per day late fee for each working day the balance is past due. In the event that the late payment is approved, the contract will remain in place upon payment of the balance and late charges.
